Biography

Prof. Younghyun Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he leads the Wisconsin Embedded Systems and Computing (WISEST) Lab. Prof. Kim is interested in low-power embedded systems, secure and reliable cyber physical systems, and mobile computing systems.

Before joining UW-Madison, Prof. Kim did postdoctoral research at Purdue University (2013–2016). He did his graduate work at Seoul National University and received Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2013 and B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2007. His Ph.D. dissertation won the Outstanding Dissertation Award from the European Design and Automation Association in 2013.
